THE Singapore Exchange (SGX) has warned brokers against profiting from inside information of pending customer orders.

Price targets for SGX cut ahead of results
BROKERS have cut their share price targets for the Singapore Exchange (SGX), ahead of its quarterly results next week, predicting earnings will be hit by weaker trading volumes.

Take more care with big orders, traders urged
TRADERS should pay more attention when handling large orders to prevent market manipulation, according to the Singapore Exchange (SGX) yesterday.
The bourse operator said trading members and representatives should query clients on orders that may ‘adversely impact the market’.

SGX eyes bigger strides on commodities frontier

SGX to launch oil futures in next quarter
THE Singapore Exchange (SGX) will launch an oil futures contract in the first quarter of next year, said the exchange’s new chief executive Magnus Bocker yesterday.
