Global Investments appoints Temasek unit as manager
Instead they appointed Temasek unit ST Asset Management – a move backed by the independent directors – in a bid to revive the company’s flagging fortunes.

Insurer must pay $10k after losing $5k battle
A MOTOR insurer has been ordered to pay $10,000 in legal costs after it took a ‘customer’ to court over a $5,000 dispute and lost.

Expect M&A activity to pick up in H2, says Deloitte
(SINGAPORE) Mid-market merger and acquisition (M&A) activity should pick up in the second half of this year and next year, according to Deloitte & Touche.
Peter Baldock, the company’s global chief operating officer, corporate finance advisory, believes the acquisition cycle has bottomed.
